Always fond of writing, Helen began her career as an author in earnest while still a student at Radcliffe College. Her first published book was this 1903 autobiography ~ a best-seller that has been translated into 50 languages.
This advocate for the world's underprivileged was also a lifelong advocate for happiness + optimism. Having faced many a hardship herself, she made it her mission to help the world overcome suffering while enjoying all its simple pleasures. Helen's chief joys? Her mentor Anne Sullivan, her Akita dog + flowers of every kind.
