Reagan grew up in poverty and struggled in school. But when her fifth grade social studies teacher motivated her to study properly, work hard, and be accountable, it ignited her passion for learning. Today, Reagan credits those childhood experiences with fueling her passion for innovative, project-based, and community-sensitive STEM educational models that support well-rounded students ~ especially those in economically disadvantaged urban communities.
Reagan presents at the 2013 STEM and Sports All-Star Science Festival at the Space Center in Houston. A passionate education advocate, Reagan credits her dedicated 6th grade teachers with helping her become a "math whiz" after years of low achievement in school.
